To produce the FOB (front operations base in army lingo) required some heavy duty smoke and mirrors to get this to run in Flash with no additional plugins. The breakdown above shows off this technique which essentially boils down to: Make a very detailed, photo realistic version of the FOB. Make a very low polygon (number of triangles used to make the object) and transfer the high resolution model as textures to the low resolution model. It's not easy, but it does look good, and run, which is nice.
