Working with our new friends at GT we pickled our brains and produced this Optical Illusion to promote the BBC 1 show, Bang Goes the Theory. After a short introduction, the viewer is encouraged to decide which way they think a breakdancer is spinning on his head, clockwise or anti-clockwise. The actual answer is that he can be percieved as spinning either way, as proved by switching to a shaded overlay. Points of note: Thorough Research and development into taking a classic illusion into full animated CG For those who hate ambiguity, he was actually animated spinning anti-clockwise.
